Because of the nature of the work that we do in the field , uniforms can be made of a variety of materials , as long as certain conventions of form are followed .

Uniforms should be predominantly Black, White, Red, or Blue , with an 80%/20% solid colour to accent ratio . Accents are drapes hanging from the waist and pauldrons in the following colours .

• Ultraviolet - Psi
• Pink - Traffic Controller
• Blue - Police Officer
• Red - Firefighter
• White - Paramedic
• Cyan - Transportation
• Orange - Construction
• Yellow - Repair
• Green - Parks & Rec
• Infrared - Watcher

Jacket should consist of a windbreaker with sleeves that can be rolled up during the summertime , secured with a belt around the waist held in place by belt loops . A Sewing Merit Badge goes a long way in the field . In warmer climates , jacket can be worn with the zipper zipped up in the back parallel to the tailbone and secured with belt .

Pauldrons are essential , because a small accent of military hardware is what differentiates the uniform from civilian clothes of the same colors . Decorating these pauldrons with rope, chain, lace, or other craft materials is encouraged .

Arbiters are encouraged to collect samples of objects found in the field and to affix them to their jacket like Merit Badges . When the Agency sends a Validation Token , recognize it immediately . Take it and affix it . Ultimately , an Arbiter•s uniform should look like the environment it was rendered in .
