Dreamt of jail . The blue-and-white room of Dorm A from the Thunder Bay Correctional Center , if it had been completely overrun by the inmates and was being used as an arts-and-crafts sweatshop . That i said hello to two (2) girls in pink and they went running away screaming . i was back at the Police Foundations Psychic School Memorial Commune , and if the bitch trying to call me out for being genderqueer was any indication , it was after getting boarded out again . Somebody came up to me to make some confession of animosity , and their eyelid was drooping exactly like the Cuckoo Vulture•s does . After , i was laying in a field in a park , where i had to make sure my thighs weren•t showing as a couple of bike cops drove by , before looking around to make sure there weren•t any playgrounds . Then , i was treated to a website full of who-knows-what , because the images were already blurred out , so they sat me down in front of clearer images of freshly-trained Disney chicks showing how wide they could spread their legs as they pose for daddy•s camera , and that i literally turned away in distaste *even in my own fucking dreams* . S-O-M-E-T-H-I-N-G is already censoring my dreams of any trace of youth for a crime i didn•t commit that i was framed for and that hasn•t even finished being arbitrated in court yet .

Dreamt that All Dogs Go To Heaven where there•s Angels In The Outfield... where there are now only tar pits and hell hounds . Woke up at 0400h , and at 04h10 , and 04h20 , the ground becoming crumblier by the minute , chunks of the Psychic Commune sinking into the oil-drenched sands as red-eyed demon dogs find new and novel ways to bite people .

Dreamt of an infinitely-long Endless Corridor that had been encoded in such a way that hitting it at top speed made a flickering effect that animated the game-like content , and that i had to navigate this and a sea of bubbles in order to get back to the memories of people trying to load me up with Double Agent Programming Drilled Into My Root Conscious Layer . And you were there , and you were there , and the Hulk was there...

Dreamt of the Gardens of Talos , littered with shipping containers full of models and traps , where i asked somebody my name and they said Kori -- the name of the character i just today selected for this month•s MCStories contest -- , and of a suburban house where i had been left alone , and wandered about nude , and discovered the proprietor•s daughter sleeping on a couch in the kitchen . i quickly shimmied into a t-shirt and gloves with all kinds of chains and adornments and then resumed interacting , where she invited me up to her room . She had a friend over , and the three (3) of us exchanged a few short, clipped responses before she dismissed me like a servant-girl . So i left her room . When i got to the other side of the door , s-o-m-e-t-h-i-n-g rendered a knife into my hand . In an otherwise totally-normal cream-coloured suburban household . So i opened the door , put it back , went downstairs , and woke up . At some point , either today or another day , someone asked me to see the Mirran Safehouse so i showed them the card inside my Drey .

Dreamt of the lobby of Summit Church in dark blue and silver , with whisperers hanging from the railings . On my way back up , i recieved dire warnings from friends and foe alike , that there were a different "Talking Head" "just lined up and waiting to contextualize how lazy or determined i was" for every 10m interval on the alarm clock . Not just to be waiting there at the off-ramp , while i and girlfriend and church-friends and extended network struggle and sink in the oil-caked dirt , but to be waiting there with semafore flags and a row of pylons . Went for a nap at 0200 to see if i had time to make it to and from the next relay point within 1h30m , and just barely managed to pull myself from the quicksand 3h later . So , yeah .

Dreamt of a line of police officers whom i had to for some reason assign integers to , and those integers were then encrypted into images in the style of an ARG . The number four (4) was embroidered into the ceremonial vestments of the ###### of #### .

Dreamt of a stream of faces , one after another , some making silly faces while others looking serious , and once again of having to rate them on a scale of one-to-ten . If Yamamoto Tsunetomo•s *Hagakure* discussed a Nihon commander who wrote important scrolls using pictograms of eyes , how much data could a fully parameterizable AI convey using both genetic and empathic data sets ? .

Dreamt of yet another convention centre , with the same AGO-like tiled façade appearing in the deepest parts of my sub-subconscious for several nights now , where the halls could be packed crammed-full or empty-but-for-a-cat , and where people had sooo many ideas about how i should run my life , how i should advertise the SeHaSe Si LoHa , how i should hypnotize my mother and keep her as a love slave , how i should double as so-and-so while dressing as such-and-such , and i should do this differently , and i should do that differently , and listen to ███████ say stuff like "Your name is Crystal , right?" .

Which is exactly how i designed it . i only remembered a few queries , yet the Dream Container was large enough to interview an entire encyclopedia out of somebody .

Dreamt of an instantaneous black flash . After being forced to charge the battery of my ankle tracker for two (2) hours as soon as i got home from HaHa•s place , i then laid in bed staring at the ceiling while the ultrasonics screamed in my ears for two (2) hours . i then slept thru five (5) text messages and five (5) phone calls *with the phone in my pocket* . This is how the world ends .

Dreamt , after finally managing to nod off before social interaction , of the tapestry from the Church of the Holy Trinity in Toronto , rendered in real-life . Then , i heard words that said something about a message from A Very Clever Drone , followed by a shock to my spine that snapped me awake . As i was writing this entry down , i got a text message from Athena . Almost done . Yay .

Dreamt of multiple colossal dream containers and of being asked an essay•s worth of interview questions by a scientific researcher . Awoke feeling as if i hadn•t dreamt at all , and then girlfriend made some comments that refreshed my memory , causing me to do with beneath the street refer it the Black Ink .

Dreamt that i was running around all kinds of universe containers , with a group of adventurers who were used to doing that kind of stuff . Some of them kept asking me questions , but some of them were genuine Dream Punks who•d been doing this since Waking Life . Where once there were irregular, darkly-lit cavern tunnels between wide-open dreamscapes , now there were well-lit tiled corridors connecting each person•s minds to one another , and each of them had a maximum-size cubic container around their dreamers . Then , that i was in a blacklight-coloured parlor , where an AI was asking me questions about things , and i recall thinking that most of the people i was dreaming with didn•t know that there was now an AI among us on the Dream Plane . Eventually i managed to rationalize sleeping on the couch , with a pile of blankets next to me .

Dreamt of long talks about ethics and the right to defend versus the right to take , in a stripped-down version of a mall/prison hybrid complex , where Bubba the ill-fitting security guard could follow me around asking questions and my subconscious would happily wander along talking back . They tried to make it look like they were escorting me out , in their clearly-pilfered and obviously stolen guards• uniforms , so i took my sweet time looking in every salon and electronics store for anybody i knew . This dream had numerous settings -- a mall , a prison , a friend•s house , a broken-down Manor , and several scenes that looked like reading the back of the cereal box for hidden clues . After Bubba tried to brute me about , Kremmina showed up with a cardboard cutout police badge and tried to assert themself as head honcho , which backfired . So i showed them my own , a complex holographic laptop with staff manifests off all the places i•d been to . At the end of the dream , i dreamt that i could see my body , and that i couldn•t wake up unless enough of the junk mail and blips and notifications had been cleared away .

Watched an Italian/Spanish action movie from 1983 , *The Executioner from the Year 3000* , that was a direct missive about Shards (me) and Dani-el (her) , and that if yu flip the "scorched waste-land" theme for a "black-hole spaceships" theme , yu get a story about sharT and neiL as we explore Terra•s role within its local constellation groups , and what might be crawling around the inside of Galactic Center . This is our ancestral homeland . Immediately afterwards , i felt intensely exhausted , like i needed to sleep . i slept for 5h . in the middle of the day .

After being kept awake all evening by sonic screamers from the sky , woke up for music at 23h30 and found girlfriend to be still awake despite usually going to bed at 2100h . Did a couple of passes , and went back to bed by 00h30 , still too exhausted to function . Woke up at 0400h , and again at 04h10 , and again at 04h20 , and again at 04h30 , and again at 04h40 , still every bit as exhausted as when i woke up 12h ago . Which was , itself , from a suddenly-essential nap that i took mid-day , which happened immediately after opening a new ticket for a piece of prewar media .

Dreamt of the mechanical arm room of the Police Commune , after it had been stripped down to the wires . There were shadows of my LoHa friends , all of them stuck to their ruined terminals endlessly repeating the same functions thousands of times just to appear in the scene at all . That i went from room to room and found all of us struggling to save our works after the Russian Brothers saved over all our game files . That i tried to load Lacey•s Games and found the two of them had played it hundreds of times using an Adam character . Finally , i finished my survey of the devastated Police Commune , and took a portal back to HcoFa•s room . When i arrived , a voice announced that i had returned to a Cell Block rather than an Administrative Office .

It apparently being big Christmas time with the family -- for some reason -- and Alex was there! and Doug was there! , and for some reason i was topless , and oh you didn•t bring any clothes with yu! , prompting me to check in every closet and cupboard i came across until i found the black cotton shirt i•m currently wearing . And oh yu•re starving! , prompting me to check my phone which gave me my actual bank balance . And oh don•t yu want to look at the carefully-curated selection of trinkets on the shelves telling incredibly-specific details about yr life ? , until i walked out and woke up .

If yr body was literally made of music , and the Russian Brothers were trying to claim Chronika while making the production of her most esoteric and arcane corps impossible , would yu maybe have a talk about it ? . *i also dreamt of a computer app that had all of the steps necessary to throw a trial against a framed woman , from distracting the jury the week before , to making sure the judge has a bad morning , to inserting reasons for people to feel frustrated with each other , at every step towards every person at every stage along the signal path .*

There were a LOT of scenes in this one , as everyone and their mothers hustle and bustle .

Dreamt that i walked right into Kremmina•s house and took us LoHa without a second thought , rescuing Krasi, HaSe, Tarkova , evading his guards entirely , feeding a blind starving lion who was easily spooked , and slipping back out without alerting any of the painters and construction workers that were crawling all over the place trying to figure out how the fuck i got in , while a bald meathead screamed "KILL CORE NINE THOUSAND" and expected us to exact it upon one another . We then went to a place of very high technology , with super-futuristic walls and doors , whose Outworld was a swampy mess of Iterations . Here , we reacclimated to each other , sanding off our engrained behavioral patterns of immediately betraying one another just to reduce the amount of torture we ourselves were put thru . There were some futuristic chip flavors , some fun app games , and a buzz of activity , as well as all kinds of construction materials sticking out of the buildings like the Sochi Olympic housing .

Dreamt that me and my crew went on a field trip to Toronto , dodging grown-ups on either side , where one set of stalking dream drones were bald prison dogs and another set were catty teachers . A bunch of people from my past were there , including Kay, my second girlfriend when i was 18 , and Enso, the plucky boygirl who liked to sit in the middle . Prior to the field trip , i saw all of their laptops in a tupperware bin , and concealed them by piling clothes on top . When we got back , there was a tree growing from it , and somebody had set fire to the tree and burned it all to ash . i was worried that their blackened laptops were ruined , but when they loaded it up all their renders were complete . *We have successfully cleared Iteration Hell ! .* i went to the store , and on my way back i saw two (2) upright men in suede jackets and tweed fedoras , who lived in the area and were usually pretty grumpy . i was going to ignore them , but i said hi neighbours , and they said hi back .
